Parent Teacher Association
PTA IES Linköping
The Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) at the International English School in Linköping (IES) is a non-profit association whose purpose is to form a channel for collaboration between parents, school management and student councils at IES.
The association's goal is to contribute to the development of the school's activities and the promotion of a positive environment for everyone at IES through dialogue and collaboration between parents and school management.
Membership
A member is someone who is either a guardian of a student at IES or staff at IES.
Membership fee
The membership fee is voluntary, with proceeds to be used for activities for the school's students after deduction of necessary association costs. The association's board proposes a recommended membership fee depending on planned activities. The proposed membership fee for the school year 2023/2024 is SEK 200.
Annual meetings
Annual meeting is held in May. A member can submit a motion to the annual meeting, which must be submitted to the board no later than three weeks before the annual meeting.
Invitation to the annual meeting will be sent out with the help of the school and published at this website minimum 1 month before the meeting.
PTA Board
The board consists of parents, teachers and representatives of the school's management. The tasks are to be responsible for the day-to-day operations within the association and to represent the association before authorities, organizations and society in general. The board executes decisions made at the annual meeting and manages and is responsible for the association's funds.

Membership fee
You contribute to PTAs efforts by paying your annual membership fee! For 2023 the recommended fee is SEK 200. Please pay the fee by Swish.
