The meeting starts with a short presentation of the PTA's activities and the principal  will talk about current work at the school. We will welcome Råd & Stöd, Linköping Kommun  organisation for social support, giving us information abou how they can support students and families in need.

PTA arranged arrange a Quiz at the Autumn Fair. Parents, Students and other visitors had the chance to win some extra money for the class fund. The vinner was representing class 7A. 

The PTA  organised a haunted corridor as part of the IES Halloween celebration. The school and students in year 8 organised a Disco for years 4-5. With the help of parents PTA created a spooky corridor that made the evening extra exiting for our youngsters.

The PTA was present during the introduction evening that the school organized for new students who will start in IES in the fall of 2023. There were a large number of parents and children who got to experience a lovely summer evening with food and mingling as well as lots of good information from the school. The PTA gave a short presentation of the PTA's activities and spoke to many parents during the evening.

Now it's time for the survey from School Inspectorate. School Inspectorate sends this survey out regularly, free schools do it every other year. The purpose of the survey is to evaluate the schools and contribute to all students' right to a good education in a safe and calm environment. It is important for us to get a high number of parents answering the survey so that we can evaluate and develop our organization to something even better. Therefore we are asking you to give a few minutes to answering the survey. You get your log in an attachment to the Hedmasters January letter sent in SchoolSoft as well as sent home with your child on paper. Please fill in the survey before February 24.

Tuesday the 7th of February and Thursday the 16th of February at 17:00-19:00 you can visit our school to get help logging in to answer the survey with the help of school staff and members from the PTA. During these times there is also the possibility to get translator help in Arabic and Somali.

At an extra annual meeting 2022-10-20 a new board for PTA was elected. The board's tasks is to be responsible for the day-to-day operations within the association and to represent the association before authorities, organizations and society in general. The board executes decisions made at the annual meeting and manages and is responsible for the association's funds.

IES Linköping is in the process of updating the plan against abusive treatment. PTA board members have reviewed  the documents and gave input to the Headmaster at the board meeting 2022-12-08.
